Dr. Michael Nimaroff is the Senior Vice President & Executive Director of Ob/Gyn at Northwell Health and serves as the Chair of Ob Gyn at North Shore University Hospital & LIJ Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Nimaroff is the Director of the Fellowship Program in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, and is an Associate Professor of Ob/Gyn at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Over the past three decades, he has dedicated his practice to gynecologic surgery with a focus on minimally invasive techniques. In 2005, he established one of the first gyn robotic programs in the metropolitan area. Dr. Nimaroff has a special interest in hysterectomy alternatives, uterine anomalies/recurrent pregnancy loss, and endometriosis treatment alternatives. Under Dr. Nimaroff’s leadership, Northwell has been recognized as a Network of Excellence in both Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Robotic Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation and the Minimally Invasive Gyn Division has grown to include three fellows and nine attending surgeons.
